A CSA (community-supported agriculture) is a system in which members support a local farm by purchasing their produce up-front for the immediate growing season. Members purchase either a full share, half share or free choice share in the winter/ early Spring. In exchange, they will receive a basket of vegetables weekly throughout the growing season or for the free choice options you shop at the farm stand as usual with a membership discount. Don't like a certain veggie or fruit, no problem switch out an item for something you love.
